I just finished reading an article on my homepage about Earl's death and it hit me pretty hard. I still have my dad, and our relationship isn't that great, but I just called him. I send all my condolences and best wishes to Tiger and his family is this rough time.

RIP Earl! You did your job, and you did it well! Tiger will miss you, but your spirit and your teaching will hold him in good stead, as he still has a lot to accomplish!

Lost my dad when I was about Tiger's age. Wasn't an easy thing. What I'd give to walk the course with him one more time. RIP to Earl and condolences to Tiger.

I'm glad that Earl lived to see the opening of the Tiger Woods Learning Center.

I think that "giving back" was part of Earl's plan for Tiger.

this has got to be messing with his head, but to what extent i don't know. earl prepared him mentally for everything... except for this.
