My assessment of the Euro Tour and how I feel "personally" about Wie making a cut there are two completely different things. Would you like to know how I feel about Wie being the first woman to set foot on Mars, become the first female President of the United States, or her chances of discovering a cure for cancer too? FYI......I feel they are all unlikely possibilities.
The only reason I ask about the European Tour is because I know if she makes the cut, alot of people will say "it's only the European tour, no big deal".

Sure, there are a lot. But, if you add up all the only Tiger comments each tournament he plays in, apparently there are thousands and thousands of things no other golfer in the world can accomplish.
I would bet that just about every golf shot that Tiger has played that the commentators state only he can make has been made at one time or other by at least one if not many other players.

I didn't actually mean you would be saying that. I meant people in general, particularly in the media.
When Tiger amazes even his fellow competitors with a shot, I have to believe some of what they say. I saw an interview with Ernie Els where they asked him about a spectacular shot Tiger had hit and he replied that he wouldn't have dreamed of even trying it. That tells me something.
That sounds a bit like where some commentators and pga players said that MW had one of the 5 best swings in the world. It's just claptrap really.
Tiger has more shots than anyone, and pulls them off more than anyone, but for each of his shots, there is bound to be someone who could pull it off somewhere.
I've never heard that said, and if it was, whoever said it is a horse's behind. That's completely subjective.

There are also the famous Azinger and Davis Love quotes among others, but people are entitled to say what they want I guess.
If Wie makes the cut when she comes to Switzerland to sell watches it will be an achievment ,but a minor one. European events have a wider range than USPGA ,meaning the standard required varies more from tournament to tournamnet. That is why Kevin Stadler can win a 'minor' event in Australia but miss the cut in a bigger event like the British MAsters.
The Omega watches event in Switzerland would be a bigger cut than an Asian Tour event, but I would much rather see her pursuing her first win amongst ladies.
We should let Wie do what she likes, if she wants to ake part in the mens matches, then let her, if she wants to take part in the European Ladies matches then let her as really the European Ladies matches are going to be where its at if Wie enters & she'll attract other US ladies into the events & create a truely world class stage, that the Mens European World tour deserves to be.
And as I say if Michelle Wie wishes to enter mens events I think she can only improve as she does so. I think the results she had this week where the results of nerves & the heat will be turned up as she relaxes. Heck, just look at some of the coverage & how she attacks the pins. If she can do this at 16, imagine what she's going to be doing in 2 years time. I see no reason why the ladies cannot compete on equal tearms with the men as this sport develops yet further into the 21st Centurary.

I think I have a fair idea of your assessment of the european tour anyway. 
I disregarded it.
If she ever makes a cut on the European Tour I'll let you know.
