Adrien Mörk shoots the first ever 59 on European Challenge Tour

Check out this guy's scorecard today:
http://scores.europeantour.com/default.sps?pageid=174&pagegid=%7B7991C900%2DB8A2% 2D4C34%2DB856%2D343079885E16%7D&id=32809&iTourNo=& iTourId=&ieventno=2006728&eventid=2006728&infosid= 2

He started on the 10th hole today. Shot 29 on the front, then went par - double bogey - Eagle to get back to even for the back 9 (actually the front 9, but his back 9 )
- then proceeds to finish up the round by shooting 6 consecutive birdies for the first ever 59 recorded on the European Tours.

He´s now at -20 after 2 days and has broken all kinds of records.
Pretty impressive (and amazing)!!!

A 59 with a double bogey!! That's quite the round!!

Although, to be fair, a touch over 6500 yards is quite short by the tour standards for men. Still, that shouldn't detract too much from the great performance.

He won the tournament by 1 shot. He went 63, 59, 74, 69. Not too shabby.

Even if the course isn't that difficult you still have to get the ball in the hole. Though 59 with a double is just insane. So is the fact he shot 122 for the first 2 rounds

Alas the name would probably be pronounced as Merk or Murk, not Mork!
