Tom Pernice's Alleged Infraction???

Did anyone see this? I heard (didn't see the replay) that he moved his ball but it didn't come to rest in a different position and therefore there was no penalty.

What did our Golf Rewind armchair officials see?

Cheers,

Jim

Sorry for getting back so late, Jim. I was watching and clearly saw Tom address the ball and accidentally bump it. The ball indeed moved, but only slightly. And it looked as if the ball returned to it's original position. No penalty.

How do you know if he saw it move or not? His partner didn't and the PGA official agreed that there should be no penalty.

Sounds like the ball "moved" but didn't come to rest in a different position because it rocked back to its original position. In that sense, Pernice can probably claim that it didn't "move."
