Sorry if this is a repost, but I just can't get enough of this video. It almost looks like his feet are coming off the ground because he swings so hard. Check out how his pants are rippling in the wake!
How in the world does he swing 139 mph with 186 mph ball speed and only hit it 297yds? There is a video on there where Vijay' swing was 120mph with 170 mph ball speed and hit it 303yds. What is with these numbers? Vijay even hits a cut while tiger hits a draw.

It doesn't mention the spin, wind, uphill/downhill, wet/dry fairway or other factors. In a vacuum, yes, Tiger's ball would travel farther, but that isn't the case.

So true.....I saw hit him one with (probably the same numbers) and it was without a wind and up a slight hill and he hit it 342 yards at Augusta on the 8th Tee. There was a bunker on the right side of the fairway and to clear it you had to hit it 330 on the fly....he was the only one to do it all day.
No wonder he needed surgery on his left knee!!!
Have you guys ever seen Johnny Miller's swing when he was in his prime in the early 70's?? His left foot moved a good 6-8 inches left (away from the ball) I am surprised with that much movement that he was such an incredible ball striker...
What I think is amazing it looks like he squats on the way down to make up for his huge follow thru that brings his left foot way off the ground. It is almost like he is trying to prevent himself from coming out of his shot because he swings so fast. If that is the case it is even more amazing that he can time all that movement and still hit the ball.
