Tiger will try to hard for Pops , like in the Masters and beat himself up on the greens
I dont like Phil in this one. Coming into the Masters he was red-hot , he isnt now
Goosen seems to love these venues, so maybe him
as long as it isnt a one time wonder that we will never see contend again
and you know who they are

i wouldnt mind a first time winner here, to me it doesnt matter, if theyve played well enough to be highly enough ranked or qualified for the tournament then they deserve to be there and if they win then that means theyve played the best golf for the week.
my fancies are miguel angel jimenez, brett quigley (backed him for months and he's coming good at the moment) and jose maria olazabal.
you lot only have to look back a few post's to know the rest who i want to do well, but these are the 3 i think will do well. camilo villegas would be my tip if we went back a few months, but at the moment i dont really think so.
and although it hurts me to say it, but i think monty will be up there at some point during the week, maybe that will be on the back 9 on sunday.
I'll be surprised if Monty makes the cut. Tiger will be in the running, may even win, top 5 at least. I don't think Phil will be in the top 10, but VJ could be top 5. I think someone like Appleby, Luke Donald, Furyk or Immelman could just have a great weekend and win a big one.
I like a guy like Jim Furyk or Chad Campbell. Both have alot of talent, have been on many leaderboards this year, and can come out and take home the hardware.
I'd so love to see Cambo defend it. I know there's almost no chance, but there was almost no chance he'd win it last year too, so I'm gonna hold out some hope. If I had to bet my house on it (if I had one) it'd be on Mickelson or Furyk.
I like David Toms. He's not tremendously long, but he's straight and he has a great mid and short iron game which is key at this venue. He has also won a major and is mature enough to play smart and manage the course properly. So, if he can keep it in the fairway off the tee, I think he has a good as opportunity as any of the other big names.
