Tell that to David Howell and Phil Mickelson.

It's up to Karrie and Annika what they choose to do, and Michelle what she chooses to do.
Just because Karrie and Annika have great lpga records doesn't mean they could cut it against the men. Michelle has a better chance.

Yes, you must be right. No one missed under 3 foot putts. No one except just about every professional player that ever played the game. Currently, you have Tiger, Fred Couples, Phil Mickelson and numerous others on the PGA. On the LPGA, I have seen just about every, including Annika, miss putts under 3 foot.
By the way, I'm not talking just about the occasional miss but many misses. Michelle is not the best putter around, but certainly not the worst by any means. I believe at on of the Sony tournaments she played in, Michelle was one of the top putters for the tournaments. It just depends.
Also, at the earlier LPGA tournaments, she putted much better when she had on those glasses you don't seem to like.

Very true. Michelle is very popular, so when she plays, it is very rare that they don't show one of her shots. It is all the attention that makes us notice her missed putts more. Phil Mickelson missed a very close one on one of the later holes in his 2nd round, as well as plenty of other makable ones.

Indeed, many people have said the same. She is supposed to have putted beautifully at the SK Telecom, and she wore the shades there. So it isn't anything to do with that.
Wie and Vijay suffer from the same syndrome. If both of them could putt, they would win a lot more tournaments.
It really is hard to tell if her putting will improve. I think putting is one of those things that you can either do or can't do, it's a natural ability or lack of ability. You can get better, of course, but in my opinion she will never be an above average putter. However, if she can just improve to average, she will win a huge amount of tourneys in her career.
A missed putt from under 2 feet is a missed putt from under 2 feet.
The greens at Winged foot are not so special as to change that.
The greens at Winged Foot? No. The greens at Winged Foot under U.S. Open conditions? Yes. And nobody missed any 2 footers. Uh, except for Michelle trying to qualify, that is

World class players. Two foot putts. No excuses, whatever the slope involved.

David Howell did, and he 3 putted from about 3 feet as well.
I'd bet others did too, but as you should notice, when a player is going backwards they don't bother showing them anymore.
