Anyone see Vijay chip from on the green?

Did you see Vijay chip from on the green? I missed it! I went to get a drink and they were talking about it when I got back. They said he needed to go replace his divot. Why did he need to chip? That's not something you see very often...I wish I had seen it. Bummer.

He had to chip because the bunker was in his line, so he just took the ball over it, instead of around. I didn't see a divot taken, I think they were just saying that.............they are trying to be funny a lot so far

Jack Nicklaus and Calc are famous for chipping on the huge greens at St Andrews. Jack did it without marking the green, showing his class, Calc took a huge divot and carefully replaced it.

Yeah, he had to tchip because it was the only shot he could play. He did very well with it. He didn't take a divot from what I could tell and he got it up there to about 4 feet, then made the par putt. I've actually had to do something similar before during a tournament in high school a few years ago. I had about an 80 foot putt straight uphill, but I was on the right side of the green and the pin was located on the right edge of the green, with a big huge tongue of rough sticking out between me and the hole. So I played a nice little shot up there and actually managed to not make a divot while still judging it nicely to about 3 feet.

Yeah.. I'm thinking about going over to the ESPN studio and giving Berman a couple cheeseburgers and some fries and hopefully he'll shut up.

Is he going to go BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK as Tiger is pulling back the club on his first tee shot in a few minutes?

Yeah, then Tiger needs to throw the club at him and say... GONE!

Berman is barely good at ONE thing. And one thing only. NFL Primetime and that's it!
