Here are the GR US Open Pick Em standings after the 1st round. It's pretty close as is to be expected after 1 round. 3 people, they are the ones with the asterisks next to their scores, submitted only 9 names. I was going to exclude them as a 9-man team would've given them a bit of an advantage. Out of the kindness of my heart I've assigned each of them a 10th player named dummy. Dummy's score will be the same as that of the player chosen with the highest score for that day. In yesterday's case that was Nicholas Thompson's (who ???) 81. Even with that handicap The Mailman managed to squeeze into a tie for 11th with a 734. I'm going to have to check his picks again.

not bad considering the way Tiger played yesterday..

I'll take my spot happily! Won't last long though with Tiger likely missing the cut and taking max score for him... likely though many others had him as well, so maybe it'll even out...

Tiger, Goose, Clark, DL3, Appleby and a slew of others picked are all currently over the cut line. Anyone with only 1 pick missing the cut will be in good shape. That's where I am currently (Appleby), but there are a lot of guys heading south on the board in a hurry.

i am for sure. i was only 7 strokes ahead of last place as it was. lol

Third from last o'well there always another day and another contest maybe next time I do a better job of picking............6 of my guys are out did not make the cut. Good luck to the rest of you guys.

In yesterday's case that was someone named Lefeber (who ???) 83. Those who picked David Toms were also assigned an 83 for him seeing as he decided that he had better things to do rather than getting beaten up by Winged Foot. Everyone had at least 1 player miss the cut, some had several. The consequences of that won't be felt until after today's round.
