Depends on the weather for tomorrow. Today they said wind and there was none. Tomorrow they say wind, but who knows. If conditions are like today, I'll say +2 wins it. If the wind blows 15-20mph like they're predicting, I'll say +4, maybe +5.

yep, if its windy and the pins are set to a near impossible position it could easily be +5 or +6.

Anyone more than three out right now needs to shoot at least even par tomorrow.

A total score of Even or +1 takes it.

I think.

i should think Evens or +1 will take it by atleast 3-4 shots, if they get the wind they are expecting.

My guess: There will be a playoff of two or more players tied at +3 or +4

WHAT!
No one saying what ever Phil ends with will win.

I think +3 if conditions are similar to todays.

Phil played as well on the back today as he has all week. He's leading. He's the only one within a couple strokes who's 'been there/done that'. He's in front of an adoring NY crowd. Phil by a couple of strokes, right where he is.. +2.

If Phil hits a lot of fairways, I wouldn't be surprised if he stays right where he's at or even shoots a 69 again. However, today he got pretty lucky on the front nine with some of his tee shots being so far off-line that he managed to find the trampled grass a few times instead of the 6 inch rough (and on the first hole he even hit a tree and had the ball kick back into the fairway...pretty good luck there). The fact that he was actually missing the fairways by so much actually saved him a couple strokes I think (just a few yards more accurate on those shots and he's staring at bogey). He's gotta get it in the fairway like he did on the back nine; otherwise, I think the winner would be around +3 or +4 (and it could be Phil even if he's off because his immediate challengers probably will not hang around very well).

I'll go with Even...same as last year. Last year was kinda cool...one player didn't let the course beat him...all others were over par for the tournament.

Phil's 71 tomorrow will be enough to get it done by 2 shots at 283.

Exactly what I was thinking, wazmankg. The way Phil got it together late today kind of reminded me of his Augusta experience, where he kind of played his way into that great final-round form.

I think Phil will come out tomorrow with a great calm confidence. He is very determined and better prepared than anyone else. I think he shoots a 70.

I agree, I think there's no stopping Phil now. He has great support, is playing well and seems to be putting good too. I think +2 or maybe +1 will win, and I can see the +1 will be Phil shooting a 69 (as much as it pains me to say it!!!) C'mon Ferrie, Monty, Poulter (or Poluter as I call him!)

Poulter reminds me of Rod Stewart for some reason! Although I hate to root against the home team, I'd like to see Ferrie hang on to win. Maybe it's just one fat guy pulling for a former fat guy, I don't know. But watching him yesterday was enjoyable. He gets mad when he hits it bad, but then seems to shrug it off and get back to business. Plus, if he wins, we can say everybody got beat by a Ferrie!

The early holes on the course are playing very easy today...guys are knocking down the sticks. There are a couple players already at -4 for the day...I wonder if the back nine will bring them back to earth?
