Johnny: Bob, I wish you were the color man when I won in '74. I was great then and you're great.
Bob: Thanks Johnny. I wish I was the color man when you won in '74, as well. You were great then. And I'm great too. Dottie?
Dottie: Thanks Bob. I was a great golfer as well. I watched Johnnie play in '74. And he was great. But, he was fortunate that his good luck didn't catch up with like it did with Lefty today. Lefty struck the ball horribly and got all these good breaks. And on 18 he got what he deserved. Johnny was just lucky. I'm a great golfer.

ROTFL!!!! Great! Sound very much like them too... I agree with the others; with that many great golfers around and the number one golf event in many viewers' eyes, too much fluff, too little substance and bad camera work/producing. How did everyone miss Phil's ball hitting the tree? Too much Johnny Miller too. I usually don't much mind him, but this time around he was particularly annoying. Just one man's opinion...

Right! The exact opposite of Azinger and Faldo who always say how they would have NO chance in some of these tournaments!

CBS golf coverage is my favorite. They replay a lot of the good shots and have the Konica/Minolta Swing Vision which shows the swing analysis of golfers in slow motion. Plus Feherty and McCord are hilarious. I don't like Jim Nantz though. He sounds too much like Bob Costas, who I cannot stand listening to. ABC is entertaining also due to good commentating by Faldo and Azinger, although Hank Haney's golf tips need to show us where the ball ends up in his lessons. But CBS still rules due to the Swing Vision Analysis.

I missed the last hour & a half of the tournament due to circumstances beyond my control. I did see an overhead highlight of his drive hitting the tent, but have yet to see anything of his 2nd shot other than his swing. Or 3rd for that matter. Where was the overhead on those 2 ? That's usually the only perspective that shows exactly what happened to a shot.

I agree with VJCouples, that slowmo swing stuff is just too cool. I wish I had a camera like that, I would be doing all sorts of things with it. Just amazing how far technology has come.
