Who is the value for money bet?
Someone said Natalie Guilbis was a good each way bet, and they may have a point.
It is pretty bad weatherwise for the golf course.
It has already taken alot of water, and alot more is due.
The course is on lowlands so they are finding it very difficult to pump out all the water. The course is already playing long, due to the showers, and with more expected, it is set to play very long.
It all depends on how much they move up the tees, because the way it's going some players wouldn't be able to reach some par 4s in 2 shots, and that's just not good enough, so they will assess the tee positions on a case by case basis.
Play could well be completely washed out on Thursday due to heavy rain and thunder storms which are forecast. They should be able to catch up later though.

A bit OT, well maybe not for you rodney_c, read this and post your thoughts (might have to be in another thread though). Wie reads her own putts.
I'm not a supporter of her reading her own putts with no help from the caddie. Lots of caddies help the players read putts on the lpga tour. Even on the pga tour, many players get assistance off their caddies in reading putts.
I think it is probably part of wanting to be a great player, and wanting to be the complete player, that is behind her reasoning of reading her own putts.
It could be another one of those things that slow her from winning, but would ultimately make her a better player. It's similar to her playing against the men in that way.
Her matchups against the men mean that she doesn' concentrate completely on lpga green, and if she did, it would have helped her maybe to win quicker, but in that case she is defintely correct, because despite maybe not winning as quick, she will be a better player for it.
So on the putting question, it's a tough one, but I think her caddie should help her read putts, and she could do it on her own in practice, and only take that on to tournament play when she gets more comfortable with it.
I think Wie would be wise to read the putt, then get her caddy's opinion on the break. If their opinions differ, then she can discuss what she sees versus what he sees. That would speed up her learning process by leaps and bounds. She (or her dad) is letting ego get in the way of improvement, IMO.
Play is being delayed by fog. That didn't stop Jill McGill practicing:
Over 5 hours of delays, due to fog. There had been thunderstorm forecast as well later in the day, and I think all of you know what the slightest threat of lighting means for golf.
Paula: So Michelle what do you, like, think of the course? Michelle: Oh Paula, I've played a few rounds and I think it's just awesome. Paula: You're right it sure is, and speaking of awesome I bumped into leaguegolf the other day, that guy is just so awesome. Michelle: You know, I think he is, you know, really arogant, and really annoying, although he pretty cute though. Paula: Sure he's cute, but ErikGalindo is really hot. Michelle: oohhhhh. Tell me about it. He is you know sooo hot. Paula: I know, he is like really hot and cool both. Anyway have an awesome round. Michelle: I'll try, you have an awesome round as well.
I think you took the photo and Wie was only on the balcony to escape from a certain Wiemaniac. Her finding Creamer there (and not you) was probably a welcome relief!
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes indeed I took the photo, and I had a microphone up beside them, which I used to make up the transcript.
I had to censor the rest of the conversation, as it wasn't suitable for a family friendly forum.
