PGA- Faldo. The consumate professional. The closest thing to Hogan we will ever see. Since I came back to the game, I'm trying to pick soemone new to get interested in. Baddely is getting the nod so far. I used to like Lefty, but now he is everybody's hero.
Favorite? I guess that would be the player I enjoy watching, even when they aren't in contention. So...
PGA: Jim Furyk - that goofy swing, yet he can be so accurate. Shows some emotion when he does something great or makes a bad shot, but doesn't get bent out of shape.
LPGA: Don't really have a favorite. I enjoy watching several of them for various reasons , but won't watch just to see how a particular player is doing and be upset or overjoyed based on their performance.
Ryan Moore, why? U.S. needs someone in their twenties to pick up the slack since Tiger turned 30. Ryan is it ,23 Talented, articulate and a great sense of humor. If he isn't the next great golfer he will be the next great announcer/ color man.
Fred Funk - I went to school with him and he's still seems like a great guy. I also like Phil - he always looks as if he's enjoying himself and I like his go-for-broke nature and Freddie (C.), the ultimate "Joe Cool". Of the ladies, Michelle - rodney_c has convinced me and Christina Kim - she just seems like a really fun gal... and Julie Inkster - a down-to-earth HOF'er who can still get it done and all while raising a couple of kids.
Vijay - I really like his work ethic. Not to say that other PGA members don't have a good work ethic. I think that they certainly do...but Vijay's just seems to stand out. You sure don't see enough of that these days...anywhere.
john daly- been a fan since i first saw the grip it rip swing, phil- callaway guy now, great short game, have to say tiger- i hate to say it cause everyone loves him but he is great. ladies wie, annika- callaway, and grace parks wish she was callaway.
