Kristina Tucker of BB5 in the US Open

Kristina Tucker, the Swedish cutie from Big Break 5, just went out in -1. I didn't realize she'd qualified. It's still very early, obviously, but that would be some story if she were to hang in there for awhile.

There certainly are alot of stories going on at that tournament.

The other good news waz, is that she has the more difficult side of the course done with.

By the way, Shi Hyun Ahn is Even after 16, which is great since she was +3 at one stage.

Well she just bogied the 12th, a longish par 3 (181), to drop to even. She has 2 long par 4s(440 +) and another long par 3(185) to go. Have they said that the front is easier ? Because looking at the card it seems as if the opposite would be the case... at least judging from some of the hole lengths.

Waz,
the front was playing at + 2.658
the back was playing at +2.260

Not much of a difference. Earlier in the round, the front 9 had been a full stroke more difficult, but it evened out a bit since then.

Kristina Tucker + 1 with 1 to play. Great round.

I was surprised that she got bounced as early as she did from BB5. I thought she'd at least make it to the final 2. I was impressed with her game then... especially her short game. She'd certainly make a fine addition to the tour on a regular basis.

The BB shows don't always find the best player. She had the best swing in the show. She is just a couple of tweaks away from the LPGA.

BB can't be too bad.
Kristina finished T20 on +12 in the US Open while Ashley was winning her second Futures Tour Event.
I see Dana finished T11 while Becky was DQed.
The girls from BBV are doing better than any of the previous contestants.

To me Kristina looked like the most solid player on BB5.
I think she did pretty well in the Open. Looking forward to seeing her on the Tour.
