She has been ranked 2 for quite a while. As the 2nd best player should be.

Christina Kim got 3 birdies in a row, and brought it to level with Wie after 7 holes.

Se Ri Pak, Wie's potential 3rd round opponent is 2 down to Lorie Kane after 10 holes.

Wow Wie is a Colonel......if she just makes one more cut she will be a General! Not bad to be a Colonel and not win yet. Annika better watch out because she will loose here #1 spot and her 4 stars if Wie just shows up to the next tournament.

Christina Kim played a -2 round, and Wie still beat her by 3 & 2.
That is pretty impressive.

Christina's round was good enough to beat many players.
Chirstina also asked the questions by getting 3 birdies in a row to take the lead.

Michelle answered the questions by knocking in 5 birdies in 7 holes. Pretty good answer.

By the way, fantastic round from Paula Creamer. 7 birides 0 bogeys. That is some golf, and if she reproduces that in the 3rd round, what chance does Morgan Pressel have.

Most of the big name players are through to round 3:

Michelle advances again, played the same number of holes as Annika and beat her score by one. I hope the two meet for the final round!
