How to determine PGA projected cut?

How is the projected cut for PGA tournaments calculated?

Moved to the proper forum. Typically the "projected cut" is wherever the cutoff of the top 70 players and all those tied with them falls currently. It's not really a projection at all, but rather a show of where things would stand if the event was halted right at that moment and the cut made.

When you are playing in a PGA or European Tour Event and you know the number of spots available, you take the cut at the end of day one, double it and take one shot off. Thats then your target and the "Projected Cut".

Event with 65 & Ties.
If after 18 holes 60 players are EVEN with 10 players on +1 = total of 70 players.
So the "Projected Cut" will hover around +1 and EVEN for the second round but I would want to be -1 as a player.
But:-
If after 18 holes 85 players are EVEN the "Projected Cut" would hover around EVEN and -1 for the second round.
