USGA Senior Open
This was taped by a secret mike in the smoke filled halls of the USGA:

Old guy #1. Houston we have a problem. The current score it 8 under par.

Old Guy #2: That can not be. First we make par 72 course a par 70 course and trick it up.

Old Guy #1: Well those darn pros are make us look bad by scoring below par. We can not have that.

Old Guy #2: Next year we make the fairways 10 yards wide, make fire filled moats around each green, and make the couse a par 50. That will show those old pros that hitting the fairway mean nothing to us....we must save par!

You are so right....next year the wining score will be +7. What was Roberts thinking by shooting a 62!
