Whats your favourite to watch. mine has to be the Masters, Augusta has plenty of risk reward situation's, a lot of birdies, a lot of bogeys and every year a guaranteed BIG story.
I voted for the Masters, but the truth is, I am fickle. My favorite major seems to be the one that's coming up next...whichever one that is... I can't help but get excited about the next one...As soon as this one is over, Im chomping at the bit for the next one. The off season seems to last forever!

Can't wait till The Open starts, will be an early start for you American's. 1.30AM ET i think the first group go out (first tee time here is 6.30AM). and comes on TV at 9AM over here, is it gonna be on at the same time over there, which will make it 4AM ET i think.

pick, pick ,pick, sorry ,Geeza and why, probably because of the gung ho attitude about England. i'm not criticizing, that's just the way you come across to me. yes, i know, i'm crazy.

gung ho attitude about England?, yes i do love my country, but tell me what makes you feel im all for England and no other countries? i will be the first to say, that i will defend my country till the end of my days though. though in golf, nationality doesn't matter to me at all, my favourite golfer's are Spanish. and my favourite Major is the Masters as you already know.
i know what you mean, it the same with me. i'm about as easy going as there is, but some days i just get that urge to tease someone a little, and since league golf isn't here, it you! it's all in fun, best wishes to you and good luck to the european rider cup team. usa.usa

Ive got a feeling there won't be many chanting USA, USA at the K Club.
Yep the rYder Cup is staying here.
The Masters. The chances of being able to play Augusta are a lot less than being able to play any of the courses that rotate among the other three majors. If you got the cash, you can buy a package to get to play a Pinehurst, Winged Foot, St Andrews, etc...but that doesn't really apply to Augusta - adds to that sense of 'awe' to it, for me.

In a way, I'm the same way. I believe the big gap is part of the reason the Masters gets so much love...not to mention, it signals the "unofficial" start of the golf season here in the northern parts of the US.
The Open - the WORLD championship of golf, tradition, history, great courses, it is a singular event, the least like the other 3 in terms of setup and how it is played; I love the ground game, which we only see here
The Masters - the greens are insane, plus great history for drama
US Open - it's not really fun watching guys play fantastic to shoot 71, but for once a year it is a hoot to watch the best players on the planet grind it out
PGA - actually I think this is about my 14th favorite golfing event, but the question was of the 4 majors....
The masters...the same course each year and the beautiful imagery...being able to compare tournaments, shots and champions with the course being a constant..."Amen"...
I guess I like the Master's the most, but the US Open is a very close 2nd. The only thing is that the USGA has a history of messing up (Shinecock, Olympic come to mind).
I really like the British Open and the PGA, but lately they've produced what seems like 1 hit wonders. The Masters and US Open tend to have genuine great golfers win the event. No doubt the Master's has the most 'name' players consistently high up on the leader board, so they must be doing something right.
