pga tour players

Guys this is a stupid qustion i no but its one i was thinking about the other night. these players who win all this money each week. is it up to someone on the tour to write out a cheque to every single player!? cos that wud be a lot of writing!

Thanks to the wonders of electricity, all winnings are wired directly to the player's bank account. I just read that it's usually done the Tuesday after the event. I would love to see a pro ask to have his money in 10's and 20's!

Actually, it's 4 business days after the final round. So, most likely Thursday.

you imagine winning over a million bucks. Checking your bank account and you see that depost for 1 mil! Man what am I talking about even a depost for 10,000 for playing golf would be awesome

I can't even imagine going online and looking at my account to see a direct deposit of around 900,000.

Yep! I was about to remind everyone of that but you beat me to it. Lets see...$900,000 for winning...Uncle Sam gets maybe $300,000 (30%) so you're left with $600,000. Don't forget your agents fee, your caddies cut and percentage, and ya gotta give some to charity...so you might walk away with $500,000 when the dust settles. Still not a bad weeks work.

O h i get it. once they become a member of the tour they give the tour their bank account no. that makes sense....

I would think it's like my mom who gets 'direct deposit' into her savings or checking account for monthly/quarterly IRA checks.
