what score will win The Open.

what do you think, considering it should be good weather and wind shouldn't be too much of a factor. (dont know about the weekend though)

-17. DeVincenzo won it with -10 there at 43 years old in 1968. It's only playing about 280 yards longer today. Unless the wind blows... hard, they'll tear it up.

i think its set up for good scoring mate this week, how good? i dont know, how many players under par? i couldn't guess. ive just a feeling that its gonna be a very low score for a player that can find the fairway's.

I've gone for 6-9 under.
Some people will hit double digit under par, a few times during the tournament, but pressure will bring them back to single digit under par.

Monty to win his first of many majors, or Harrington to win his first of many majors.

i fancy someone (or 2 or 3) to blow the field away and shoot 17 or 18 under.

Presumably you mean "1st of many attempts" in both cases

The weather forecast is for good weather with no wind for the four days with the exception of Thursday when the hot British weather may break with a Storm.

So if the weather stays as it is -18 (270) to win and that score to be done by someone unexpected.

I voted for 6 - 9 under. I just can't see them setting up an Open course to be that easy. Mind you, i've been wrong before.

14 under will win the only major that doesn't care what the score in relation to par is.

Colin Montgomerie isn't gonna be mentally strong enough to win The Open. Maybe next year, but not this year. So there you have it Micky (i mean mikey), there's my prediction for the Baby known as Colin Montgomerie.
