Wow, what a great story. I must admit I read the thread because of the "We all take the game too seriously" start and was prepared to tell you just how "important" golf really is. Thanks for making me stop to get a little prospective.

The Golf Channel had this story on last night. Very touching. IMO, Pro Golfers on a whole give so much more to their communities than other athletes do, yet are seldom recognized.
