I would like to see him make a comeback and he's starting this year. He's been pretty quiet about it. He's made a decent number of cuts this year and he came in tied at 16th at the U.S. Open. He's had some things to overcome and he put his priorities in order and golf wasn't at the top of the list - Starting a family and spending time with them came first and that's exactly what he did. Now he wants to start playing well again. I hope he does well.
I would LOVE to see David "come back". To be totally honest, in the beginning, I rooted for David because he and I have the same alma mater. As I learned more about golf (i.e. back in the early nineties) I began to admire him more as a golfer. Of late though, I admire him most as a man and as a person. Based upon recent interviews, it appears to me that the guy has his "life" priorities in the right order.
I think that it was Martin Luther King who said that the "real measure of a man was what his character was like when adversity struck". One of the things that I really like about David is that through the reversal of fortunes in his golf game, etc., I've never seem him act like a petulant child like a few other athletes that I've seen when their game/skills "went into hiding". I think that we could use a few more David Duval's on the Tour...and in the world.
So far this year, he's actually played pretty well and even finished T16 at the U.S. Open. You never know what might happen. I think that he is VERY capable of getting a big win at one of the majors.
Go David. I am rooting for you.

I'd love to see David in top form again. He was really fun to watch, seems like a great guy and , besides all that, the rivalry with Tiger would be fun to watch.
I'm a big Duval fan...after Tiger, he's always been my second favorite pro. It was nice to see him put a nice solid 70 on the board today. Hopefully he'll have 4 solid rounds and a nice finish.
