I highly doubt its over just because Tiger is playing well; he could ***** up, someone else could play amazing, or the weather might go nasty and Tiger just fall apart all together. There is to much golf left to be saying it's over. I think he has a good chance but its not over.

It's always hard to back up a great round with a really good one, so I think Ernie and Tiger have a good chance to play really well tomorrow and Sergio and Furyk probably won't be shooting such low numbers again. Tiger's gotta be kicking himself right now. He's actually not playing too bad, but he hit those two loose iron shots into the bunkers and made bogies after good tee shots. Then he 3-putted from only 20 feet away on the 10th. Ernie could be doing better, but he could also be doing worse right now. He's holed a few 10-15 footers (2 for par and 1 for bogey). So he's saved himself a few shots despite playing kind of scrappy from tee to green.
Well Tiger is still likely to have a 3 or 4 shot lead going into Sunday if he plays resonably well over the last few holes. Ernie will be lucky to be within 5 the was he's hitting it.

He's not making any putts. His body language stinks to. I don't like his attitude, but its the same Ernie, that's just the way he is.

Wait, he's not making any putts? I just explained that he buried 3 pretty good length putts. Tiger's the one who's not making putts today. He's now got 2 3-putts in his last 5 holes, and he's averaging 2 putts per hole (which is not good for a pro). Through 14 holes, Tiger already has 28 putts (the same amount for all of yesterday nad 1 more than all of Thursday). Looks like his struggles with the putter from earlier this year are creeping back into his game.
Ernie's putter is the only thing standing between him and about +5.
I wouldn't say quite that bad, but I do agree he's been saving himself. Seems like he could easily be +3 today. If Tiger manages to have the lead going to Sunday, I can almost guarantee he'll avoid the dumb 3-putts and poor misses into the bunkers. Those were just bad mental errors and execution. On Sunday, assuming he's right in there tied for the lead or in the lead alone, he'll definitely be even more focused on not making dumb mistakes. 31 putts through 16 holes for Tiger. I'll go ahead and say it. He will shoot a lot better tomorrow (at least 2 or 3 shots better). He can't putt much worse than he has today. He's done well on the really long ones with the speed but the shorter putts have hurt him pretty bad today. Most of his 15-20 foot birdie efforts haven't even been close to going in (except for the one at 11), and of course he's missed 2 really short putts inside 3 feet. He's on pace for around 35 putts today. That's pretty dreadful for him. LOL.

im as big a tiger fan as anyone, but i still think dimarco is gonna be in the very thick of it tomorrow (lol he just hit a poor shot tho), how emotional of a final group would that be, Tiger and Dimarco with all they have gone through in the last cpl of months each losing a parent.
Isn't it amazing that Garcia's eagle did not get the attention that Tiger's eagle did on friday?
How the course is playing (wind, rain, hole setup) will dictate how far back someone can come back from, I would guess that you probably need to be 10 under or better to have a reasonable chance given the caliber of players at the top. I know that Sergio picked up 6 shots on Tiger and the lead today, but I doubt that can happen again.
Should be fun tomorrow.
It would be nice to see DiMarco or Sergio to finally close the deal on a major.

Tiger was in the lead when he made his eagle, and he's the best frontrunner ever. That makes people go, "Woah, he's probably going to stomp everyone now."
And I agree, Sergio will not pick up another 6 on Tiger tomorrow, especially since he will have to stare Tiger in the eye (remember Bethpage anyone?). Tiger should be ahead by 4 shots right now. Not even Sergio managed three 3-putts in 9 holes today or any round of this tournament. Tiger somehow managed to pull off such a dumb gaffe, but I almost guarantee he won't do it tomorrow. If he shoots 68 tomorrow like he SHOULD have today, he'll be very tough to catch.
He has still been hitting lots of fairways and greens.
Those short missed putts from Tiger probably won't do his confidence any good.
Ernie really did well to still be in contention given the way he played.
Ernie had only 27 putts to Tiger's 34. Then again Ernie did miss alot of greens.
It is great that it is really competitive with lots of guys still in the hunt for the title.
Tiger and Sergio in the final group, Els and DiMarco ahead of them, Furyk and Cabrera in front of them. Tomorrow is gonna be great golf!
With these guys all having at least one low round to get to where they are, what's the chances of someone like Scott having his low round tomorrow and leaving them all wondering what happened? If the leaders stay with 2 of par, and Scott (or Calc) puts in a 65 or 66, we could have a "dark horse" winner.
Tiger commented after his round that the greens have become tough to gauge speed on, as the putt might speed up or slow down several times crossing from green to brown to green again. I've played greens like that where you have to putt the ball across several different surfaces on its way to the hole. I can imagine what it's like on a major course.
I am really looking forward to tomorrow. Maybe some weather will come in and just make it REALLY interesting!

Ummm...it's Tiger and Sergio in the final group. Sergio posted -12 before DiMarco did, so he gets to play later. Basically, it's the kiss of death for Sergio though. Final round, final group of a major with Tiger usually means you're going to struggle.
