Yeah, same here. My only problems with ABC in the past have been when they start playing 50 Cent and other rap. I like 50 Cent and all, but I just don't think that style of music mixes very well with a golf telecast.

Sergio can win it on the front nine, but can lose it on the back nine.
i think Sergio will surprise people tomorrow, he seems in a good frame of mind and confident, forget the past, that doesn't matter anymore what matters is the present, Tiger may still win but i feel Sergio will go all the way with him.
people on -8 ain't out of this yet, if they go and shoot a 64 and post -16 who knows.
im certainly supporting Sergio, and i feel he can pull this off if his head stays in the right place, but there is a whole load of players who are capable of going low only 4-5 shots behind. don't count anyone out, that would be silly. imagine Sergio Garcia with a major, maybe that could spark up some of his old magic. but im probably just saying this because im a Garcia fan, but certainly don't count him out just because Tiger is next to him. what a finish we could be in for.

I'd like nothing more than for Serg to win. He was born 1-9-80, ONE DAY BEFORE ME. Ya know, that's why he is so much better than me, he had a head start.

I love them both, but during a golf tournament? I wish CBS had coverage of the tournament. They are the best. Their masters coverage is superb.

I agree, except for the music part. WAY TOO MANY COMMERCIALS. Better off getting one of those VCRs that records commercial free and play it when it's over. They always pull this stuff.

The coverage has been absolutely terrible.

I saw Tiger hit driver today. It was in one of the 10,000 commercials they showed.

Sergio won't win. I'd mortgage my house on that bet. The guy can't close when the pressure's on. U.S. Open 2001? U.S. Open 2002? British Open 2002? British Open 2003? PGA 2004? Players Championship 2006? Masters 2003? And these are just the majors.

I honestly have a feeling the winner's going to come out of the DiMarco-Els group. I don't see Tiger winning this unless he can straighten that putter out. It was bad today. And don't count out guys that are -8 or -9. One 65 from one of those guys and they could win. Guys like Goosen, Scott and Calcavecchia are very much alive with one great round.

In a way I kinda want Dimarco, with the loss of his mother and all. Good man.

GO DIMARCO!

That wouldn't surprise me at all. I wish he were playing with Tiger. I can't see Sergio making the putts he's going to have to make and I'm not sure if Ernie all the way back yet, though putting isn't his problem.

The final few groups have tantalizing potential...it should be very exciting tomorrow, unless someone goes out in 29 again like Sergio did. Doing it in the final few groups of a major is a totally different story than doing it well ahead of the lead, so I don't see anyone pulling it off. The winner will likely be around -16 or -17, so there should be some theatrics on the final few holes with a few players in the hunt.

Well, I just watched the third round the way it should be...on DVR. I had to spend all day dealing with a niece's wedding, and didn't get to watch until about 6:45 PM. Didn't watch a single commercial!

Tiger has a tendency when he's ahead in the 2nd round to let players back in it after the 3rd round. Remember last year's third round at St. Andrews when he played a sub-par third before pulling away on the back-9 Sunday. In 2000, he let David Duval in it before blitzing away. The '02 US Open he let the field back in during the 3rd round before pulling away Sunday. Maybe it's saving the fuel tank for Sunday...I don't know. But I think tomorrow we'll see the Tiger Woods of Thursday-Friday return.

TV COVERAGE

Sorry about the US members and the coverage you guys are getting over there. Over here, it is on the BBC, and they are a commercial free channel, so it's 100% golf all the way through. It's great stuff.

When we get feeds over from US channel's it is often dreadful, with the amount of ad breaks. It's so much better for us when a UK or Irish channel is doing the broadcasting, because, they don't have near as many commercials.
