John Daly on 18.....
What in the $%$# was he thinking? Talk about self-destructive behavior.

What happened? I can't watch it live, spare no details unless they go against GR's rules!

Cut line is -1. He is -2 coming into 18. Tries to smash driver off the tee and hits it OB. gets in fairway, then tries to smash 3w to green and goes OB. +1 and misses cut.

What a dope. Tiger reached it with 2i, 4i yesterday. I imagine Daly could do the same, if the wind is similar to yesterday.

Looking at his score cards this year, it seems he really only has 14 holes in body. After that it becomes a roller-coaster ride.

that is John Daly for you, he will always take driver and try to hit as far as possible without thinking what happens if it goes wrong. If this was sunday and he was 3 shots clear on the 18th and then did that, that would just about take Mickelson's Winged Foot error and make it look good.

Well said, rcain1us. I like John. I mean, he's the "everyman" golfer. But sometimes I just wonder is he has a success phobia.

It's not as if he has all that many to spare either.
