ABC stopped coverage of the Buick Classic after the first play-off hole. The three way tie was headed back to the 17th hole and I get Pistons' banter on my local ABC affiliate. Was anyone else watching and did you get "dumped on" too by ABC?
ABC showed the whole playoff in my area. I guess they switched to Pistons coverage because you're in Michigan. Right now, there's a cooking infomercial on ABC and Finals coverage won't start for another 20 minutes.
I watched the golf most of the afternoon and then have no idea who won the play-off. Would ABC have left us hanging if Tiger, Ernie, and Phil, were involved? It stinks and now ABC has the NBA Finals. Will they show over-time? I won't stay up to find out!
Yeah, that has to be frustrating. I always get frustrated with CBS coverage not being able to watch the games I want. It's an interesting question about whether or not this would have happened if Tiger were in the playoff.
Imagine getting the game you want from CBS, it's a great game that's tied at the end of regulation......then CBS doesn't show the overtime. I'm curious what Finchem and the PGA Tour will have to say about this.

Think I posted this on the TGC forums, but they cut in my area (Seattle) when Garcia was in the middle of his backswing for his approach on the last playoff hole.
Get this, they cut to go to an infomercial about..... A golf product WTF!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
I don't really understand the american coverage, is it relative to your area or state which tournaments you get? i like the network that has David Feherty on it, not sure which that is, but in general, living in europe, the coverage is annoying. Too many adverts, and showing the leaderboard literally after every 2 shots begins to wind you up. Im not saying the European tour coverage is perfect, but certainly not as irritating. Over here they would never cut the concluding part of the tournament, too many would stop their subscriptions.
I thought this was something that only happened in the Detroit area Sunday, looks like it happened across the country. It was hard to understand especially when the Pistons game was not for another 2 hours+
