The "predictions" I've seen thus far are ludicrous (sp?).
1 - You NEVER bet against someone who's won the Women's British Open title before.
2 - Those mushrooms growing in the back yard are NOT intended for you to either eat, or make some other foul concoction out of.
3 - You NEVER predict someone who can't even keep her own scorecard properly due to her ignorance of the rules is going to shoot a 64 in the final round of a major championship.

In other words, leave those mushrooms alone rodney.

Who are you referring to?
The leader Sherri Steinhauer is it? Please clarrify, because other players have won it.

That won't be divulged on these boards.

I could hold a tour card if golf involved driving and putting only. Most the other parts of my game are not up to scratch though by euro tour standards. There is such a high level needed with approach shots, and you would need to be so accurate, and have so many shots, it's really hard to compete. Haven't been able to play much golf at all in the last while due to injury though.
I still don't know most of the rules of golf though.

I do ask age because your devotion to Wie could be seen as alot 'unusual' if people are thinking you are much older than mid 20's...

- Candie Kung to take the title. By the way, the bookies are giving odds of about 33-1 on her. She will beat Sophie Gustafson in a close run thing. Candie will ease away from about hole 14 or so to take the title.
- Annika Sorenstam to have a run at it, but too little too late for her.
Darn it. Reading back did I type 64 as Michelle's score. That was just a typo. Of course, I meant 74, which is what she got, so that's one thing right.
Of the high scores predictions, Natalie Gulbis is already +5 for her round after 5 holes, Lorena Ochoa is +2 after 4, Christie Kerr even after 5, and Beth Daniel the big surprise -1 after 7.
- Sophie Gutafson is moving as I predicted. Watch out for Candie Kung though. At -2, 6 shots off the lead but ready to take the top spot when Sherri falters down the stretch.
- Oh, and Annika must be due that run pretty soon.

Go to:

Read some of the posts there, and you will learn what devotion to Michelle Wie means.
Try the 2 headings:
Majors & Matches & Tour Talk
Perhaps you could give us your findings, as to what most of the topics are about.

PS: I don't bother with that forum, it's a rubbish tip and nothing more.

I dont say you are the worst in the world, just saying that you need to be careful that people dont think you are a middle aged guy who is getting all excited about a girl (i.e. a child)... it is a friendly warning and alot of men in the internet really need to think about it.

Good advice, I am making a conscientous effort to not lust after her in my heart for another 14 months.

I know exactly what you mean. But if it were about looks, there would be plenty of women of age on the lpga tour to lust for.

I'm probably guilty of just being obsessive on winning debates. Michelle Wie is the big debate in golf. If people were attacking Monty as much, I'd be defending him just as much, but if you take a look at the "best player never to win a major" thread, he has mainly good feeling towards him.

The only other golfer attacked near as much is Tiger Woods, and I don't bother defending him. If his record doesn't say enough to people, than I doubt I'll be able to help them.

There's a guy with a countdown clock, and you were worried about me.

Sherri Steinhauer has won this tournament twice before (1998 and 1999). It was not a major then.

My predictions are excellent.
I predicted Annika to make a late charge but it not to be enough.

Well she did make a charge. 44 on the back 9 (+7)
And it wasn't enough to win. So right again. Boy I'm good at this.

Cristie Kerr was 9 strokes off the pace after 2 rounds, -6 rnd 3 and -4 thru 15 with a double on 2 and shes within a stroke. Steinhauser is bogey free thru 13 and -1. should make for a good finish.
