Yah, twice but it wasn't a major then so it was alot different.

Seriously ... what were you thinking ? Was that a shot in the dark or did you really think she had a chance ? I've never been more confident about a bet (NO MONEY... what the heck is that ? ) in my life and as I predicted Michelle did not pick up a single stroke.
She did pick up a single stroke. It was 7 excluding the penalty, which you agreed to not count in the contest, so she did pick up a stroke.

I was thinking that Michelle hadn't put 2 bad rounds back to back in quite a while. And also in the 2005, British Open, she started with 75 yet got 3rd place. When we bet she had shot 74 in the first round.

Well done to

bnelson0308, london_geeza and olsons3

for being the only ones among the 46 voters to get the selection right.
I doubt any of them would have expected Sherri Steinhauer to win the title, but as I pointed out before the contest, picking an option like "any other American" was a good value bet with lots of possible potential winners in that category.

So hats off to the 3 champions.

That's good. A typo that was almost a better fit than the intended word.

Agreed, Wie had a chance to catch Inkster, it was only one round. The odds were against her, but there was a chance. On that course, anything could happen.

London Geeza picked Gulbis & Creamer and bnelson0308 made no specific selection, therefore by the power vested in me I decare myself to be the C0-Champion , with olsons3 who picked Juli who tied with Lorena for 4th place. Oh and Dave Howe, it's not too late to put some money down on Michelle catching Juli. She has about as much chance today as she did after Thursday's round.

Come to think of it, wasn't I the only one who tipped Sherri Steinhauer to win the tournament.
Granted she was 4 up with 1 to play at that stage.
