I would go with Sergio and DiMarco. If Sergio was a better putter...

Monty says that because he has an easy swing, and it doesn't put much pressure on his body, that he should be at his best for longer than the type of player who puts alot of stress on his body during his swing. An example of that type of player would be JB Holmes in my opinion.

I was thinking the same thing. He has that long, flexible easy swing like VJ, but age seems to be taking a toll on VJ or maybe he's just in a bit of a slump. When you fade a bit over 40 people automatically presume it's age. If Fred Funk can contend through his 40s I see no reason why Monty or VJ can't.

I've wondered about VJ a lot this year...Is he burned out or just having an off year? (Wish I could have an off year and play so well!)

I believe Monty would have to be high on the list, so would Garcia.

What do Sam Sneed, Jay Haas, Fred Funk and Gordie Howe have in common?
Answer: They all played in the major leagues past age fifty. PGA, NHL
