Aviation Ordnanceman? Sounds like my first 4 years as an Aircraft Armament System Specialist in the USAF, before switching to avionics. Ever go to Nellis for one of the Red Flag or Blue Flag exercises, or Osan, Korea for Team Spirit?
Thanks for serving, guys, even if it was Navy service! I'm a 10+ year Air Force vet, 6 years in Special Operations - got out when Clinton paid me to!
Oh yeah, that Buick finish was good! Tiger's accuracy, Furyk's come from behind to push him a little, several others in striking distance. Apple's from the sky! What more could you want in a non-major event?
Man that was some cool handed display today, eh? Dude just went out and executed. Guys shot well enough to win if he would have played so-so, but that never seems to happen when he has a chance to close the deal.
21-21 when up by 2 or more entering the final round.

Don't want to hijack the Buick Open thread but gotta ask...being an EW, you would know Corry Station also, eh?

You bet, pard, spent about 13 months there going to various schools.
Used to volunteer at the Pensacola Open back when that was a late fall event.
Also used to play over at that naval air station nearby.....name is escaping me. I remember one par 3 hole was played over a concrete reservoir, and they painted a giant aviation symbol on the far wall. That was a pretty intimidating forced carry - if you came up short it might come back towards you!
Sorry to the other board members, but you're going to have to get your own Buick Open thread. This here one is now the ex- and retired squid reunion.

Oh man, am I getting old and senile! It never dawned on me until just now, I had completely forgotten we shared the same training base with CT folks. I even had a close buddy who I played golf with who was a Crypto Tech. Talk about brain cramp.
It's just been so long, I never think about it. Never used my AE training, got out and went to university, got my CPA license, and more often than not don't even put my service experience on my resume, so it rarely comes up.
I still feel old and senile for not remembering what a CT was though.
I too am amazed at the distance he gets off his clubs, irons in particular. Have to wonder tho what the lofts actually are on some of these guys irons compared to what we amatuers purchase.
Most (a large majority) Pros play weaker lofts in their irons than amatures do.
Typical lofts for a pro are PW 48 or 49 degree, 9I 44 or 45, 8I 40 or 41.
Amatures using off the shelf clubs (unless they play blades) are often more like PW 45 to 47, 9I 41 to 43, 8I 37 to 39.
Pros hit it farther than most of us due to their swing., strength, timing and fexibility. It's not the clubs.
