I was at the skins game today in Banff, Alberta and so I thought that I would give an update. This was my first PGA event and I loved it. I watch a lot of tournaments on tv but to actually be there and see it live was amazing. I certainly plan on going to another event asap. Now on today, Ames played very well, as did Garcia, Daly along with Jack and Norman had some good shots but did not get into the action as of yet. Daly bombed a few drives but Garcia out drove him on the 1st hole and then made fun of big JD, saying something about outdriving him.... JD responded with a comment something like ya but I can out drink you... anyways it was a great day one.

Daly put on a good show today, he was bombing them from the tees as he drove the green on 10. Ames had chances to win the event but could not seem to make the putts when they counted. Jack was Jack, made some great shots and was a really pleasure to watch...what a great man he is.

I wouldn't mind travelling to America to watch the U.S Masters at Augusta. What a day out that would be.

Interesting to hear how the Shark was striking the ball. His short game would be a little rusty after his long lay off. Lets hope there is still some life in the great man because at his age I still reckon he'll give the Seniors a shake.
