Wie fired her caddie...

...as if Johnston was the problem. She should fire her dad and David Leadbetter instead.

She got rid of her caddie, not her swing coach.

As regards the caddie, I'm not sorry that she let him go, he didn't do alot to impress.

Rumour has it she has agreed terms with Stevie Williams. Poor Tiger when Stevie breaks the news.

You should know that the caddie is always the first to feel the heat. Trust me, she knows she's supposed to be winning and she also knows that it's not her caddies fault. Swing changes are in order.

she should just get a Scotty Cameron putter! Sorts out all of lifes problems! Either that or go see Dave Pelz/Stan Utley, or even Bob Rotella to get the putting nightmares out of her head

Maybe she just fired the caddy for the same reason Morgan did, not the right chemistry. Guess he is the only caddy fired this year, right?

Well Johnston apparently won some majors with with Juli Inkster so he can't be that bad. She just needs to get a new swing coach. Who has come out of the Leadbetter Academy and went on to be great? Nobody really. Ernie still works with him, but Ernie has been in a slump too. Michelle considers Ernie to be her mentor...go figure. Some people are just too egotistical to think that it is themselves that are to blame. But once she realizes she this and decides to make some changes, lookout. She will be great.

Maybe she should just get one of them to putt for her. I'm a terrible putter but I think even I could stay with her on the green, lol. Seriously, I agree with emc. She is losing way to much with her putting. She is a young wonder girl for sure and it will be interesting to see what she does down the road but the worst part of her game right now is the flatstick.

Her age is working against her at the moment. No matter how good she is winning is an artform. Once she breaks through she will be ok and possibly dominate for a few weeks. I really don't think swing changes are the way to go , all she needs is a couple of good ball striking events and the putting will take care of itself . My thinking is 'keep it simple' at her tender age.

Good sarcasm. Some interesting lpga caddie info:

Immediately following the 2005 Solheim Cup, Juli's caddie, Greg Johnston, quit to work for Michelle Wie. Juli picked up Lance Bennett, who you may remember as Paula Creamer's caddie last summer who was filling in (and winning twice) while her regular caddie was rehabbing a broken ankle. But then Cristie Kerr and her longtime caddie Worth Blackwelder, husband of former Tour player and 1980 LPGA Rookie of the Year Myra Van Hoose, split ways at the end of last season, and Worth was hired by Juli. That left Lance out in the cold, but he quickly found another stellar bag in Lorena Ochoa. And this week, Cristie has Jason Gilroyed looping for her, Rosie Jones' longtime caddie who most recently was working for Shi Hyun Ahn.

Story got from:
http://www.lpga.com/entertainment_content.aspx?pid=6151

Update: I heard that Lance, the caddie who Lorena got at the start of the season, who had caddied Paula and Juli, well she was getting on really well with him, she mentioned him loads in press conferences and stuff and how they had so much fun on the course and how he was a great help in her winning.
Well she just sacked him.
Tough going for the caddies.

She and her daddy are cowards. Her agent told Johnston at the airport Monday in Manchester,
England that he had been fired. She couldn't do it herself! Her daddy couldn't even do it!

Oh the dread...
