LPGA Safeway Classic - Ashley Prange

August 18-20, The Big Break's 5 Winner Ashley Prange will compete against the best in the LPGA Safeway Classic. I've seen her show and Im having some doubts in whether she can compete, shes having trouble on the futures tour too. That big headed, intimidator personality she took over on the Big Break 5 might not show too much competing in the LPGA, what do you guys think of her?

Well she is 4th on the $ list with three tournaments to go. Top 5 get into the 2007 LPGA season. She has a chance. The Big Break may finally have found someone to make the jump to the big show.

As a fellow hoosier (shes from Noblesville) I hope she does well, I believe her biggest issues will be controlling her emotions and staying within her game.

Let me ask you this...is it really necessary for her to wear skirts that are so short? I'm not trying to be mean, but some people have the right bodies for short skirts and some dont...she don't. She kind of bugs me in general.

Well, she does look like she should be able to squat 200lb at the very least but nothing's wrong with that .

On a serious note I think she's a solid player and will do well in the "Big Leagues".

Especially on the golf course!

I don't think Ashley has the game to do well on the LPGA. She might do ok, maybe make a cut now and then and finish in the lower half, but I'll be surprised if we ever see her in the top 20 or better. It would have to be a pretty weak field for her do that well.

I can see her getting her card at the end of this year, but also see her back on the Futures Tour in 2 yrs time. With more experience I believe she will eventually make the LPGA a permanent place, but like you dont see her extremely high in the year end standings. Again I wish her well though.

Finally. It only took 5 shows to get someone who could compete on a somewhat competetive level. I hope she does well. I mean she's at the top of the Nationwide Tour of the LPGA, so she can compete. I have nothing but the best of luck to her.

Can you imagine having this kind of thread for a male player? In all seriousness... I didn't root for Ashley during the show, but I'd like to see her make the LPGA tour. She's got game, the question is, does she have the mental game? Time will tell.
