I will try to post daily updates of the score so check back on this thread to see your progress.
Well, because the first round wasn't completed, I can't update the scores but the only person to pick Jay Haas was dblbassted and nobody picked Shigeki Maruyama.
I couldn't calculate all of the 3rd round scores because a lot of us have players who got cut in their picks. To calculate their scores, I'm just going to double their 2 day score. Here are the favorites, though. They don't have any players who got cut so I was able to calculate their scores:
GenErr +7
JimSomebody +12
I haven't seen if anyone else would be in contention. It seems unlikely but there were a lot of REALLY high scores from those not in contention. It's possible but it looks like it's down to these two. Hope I didn't jinx you two!
This is going to be interesting. There were some VERY high scores posted today. A lot of people picked Fred Couples and having +24 for his total score hurt their chances a lot but they might be in it after all. I'll post the winner later tonight.
Everybody can doublecheck their scores if they want. If you think you should be winner, send me a PM. Otherwise, sbrentt is the winner of a dozen golf balls of his choice!
Good pickin', sbrentt! Ames was a nice pick for you. Regarding my picks, let's just say that Verplank owes me a dozen balls. (After going 71-71-72, he shoots 83 in the final round. Thanks for nothin', Scott!)
