The 2004 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills will be the first major tournament held since Golf Rewind was started. So to commemorate the occassion (and we'll be doing this for every major from now on), we are holding a U.S. Open Pick 'Em Game.

The prize: will be a dozen golf balls of your choice.

Deadline to enter: this contest will be at 3:00 AM Eastern on Thursday, June 17, 2004.

To be eligible: for this contest, you will need to have at least 15 posts. All other members can play but will not be eligible to win the prize. You will have until the end of the U.S. Open to reach a post count of 15 so you can enter and work on your post count after you make your entry. Spamming of the forum will not be tolerated and will result in your disqualification from the contest and possibly all future contests.

How to play: Select two players from each group who you think will score the lowest during the U.S. Open. The score will be calculated by adding the total scores of all 6 players you choose. If a player you pick misses the cut, his 2 day score will be doubled.

In the event of a tie, a tiebreaker will be instituted. Select 2 additional players from Group A and whoever picks the lowest combined score will win.
