after a 3rd round that saw several players make a run at the course record, we had some more movement up/down the GR leaderboard today. Troll4poker, with a 6 shot lead, will be in the final group with glf22. Both golfers only have 1 MC each. Dannxnycx, the Round 2 leader, will be in the next to last group with O3EBZ06. Both of these players have 2 MC's apiece.

Everyone in our top 5 picked Tiger to win it. So, that won't be a factor. But, within 3 shots of 5th place, 4 entries (troll4poker, dannxnycx, O3EBZ06 and TyWebb) have 4 players. The other 2 in the Top 5 have 3 players within 3 shots of the bonus points.

My boys are 11 back, but I do have the top 3 - can they and their bonus points overcome 3 MC's? Actually, I think my key lies with Cink and Campbell and Stenson - they can all play well today and it can put me over the top!

Congrats to troll4poker the 2006 GR Open PGA Championship winner. He had a Tiger like final round and not only kept the lead he increased it with an 11 shot victory over Twilldog. Twilldog came back from 9th place to take over 2nd.

On a lighter note, there was a hard fought battle for last place. London_geeza and gpickypick out battled Halk and tied for last. The tiebreaker had to be used to declare gpickypick our last place finisher.
