Meant to write this yesterday... was watching the tourney as Fred Couples was getting his post round interview and noticed he was wearing Adidas apparel. Fred Couples almost single handedly helped the Ashworth clothing company rise to the status it enjoys today; do they not sponsor him any longer?

I thought Fred and John Cook were major shareholders in Ashworth.

Couples has been with TaylorMade in the past and his relationship as a staff member explains his association despite playing Bridgestone equipment or atleast wearing their logo. John Cook has been wearing and playing NIKE, although his struggles have left him out of the television spotlight. Lastly, I can not honestly say who is a major shareholder with Ashworth, but I am almost 100% positive that the original clothing entrepreneur at Ashworth, I believe his name was John (Ashworth) has moved on. Coincidentally, he is producing another fairly successful golf apparel line under the name, FIDRA.

i doubt it. he was wearing a Polo shirt and he had Acura on the sleeve which could have been mistaken as ashworth

Davis was definitely wearing Polo. I don't know about Couples. He has been with Ashworth for a long time though.
