I just can't stand it anymore!!

Fine! Tiger is near the lead. I guess that means we will have to watch each and every move he makes. But WHY does his name have to go above everyone else at the same score on the leaderboard? This is absolutely ridiculous!!

I admit I don't like him (more accurately I don't like the hype machine that is him). But how about just show the pictures and let me make up my own story?

I could go on and on about this, but I guess I will just go wait until the Champion's Tour comes on. I knew I should have played today.

I agree, whilst there is no doubt he's the best and so often provides pure compulsive viewing, the producers seem to think the tv ratings hinge solely on the amount of TW time there is.
The constant coverage of him wandering up the fairway between shots etc instead of watching actual live action is very frustrating, especially when there are so many others in contention. It gets to the point that if you see coverage of another player taking a putt chances are its recorded and is going in.
Great tournament though.

It seems like we see every shot he makes over and over again. I like TW but I also like to see other players also

Because they know you're going to watch whether they do that or not, and they want "casual" fans to see that Tiger's in contention and therefore is going to be shown a lot.

When it comes to golf, it almost is Tiger's world and we're just living in it. If we want that to change, the only way is to get better than him, and that's not happening soon

Have they even shown one shot by Chris Riley? he is paired with Tiger

Did they show the tee shots of Andrade and Stenson off the first tee? they are in the final pairing, and I don't thing they were shown going off 1. Really bad.

It wasn't much different back in the day when Nicklaus dominated golf. Only difference was they didn't have 18 hole coverage like they do now, so it seems like so much. But hey, Tiger is the best player of our generation. Outside of the fanatic golf fans, the casual fan that turns on the tv wants to see Tiger and what he's doing, and that draws the ratings.

What are you watching. Probably not CBS like me, because I am watching some superbly entertaining golf this afternoon. Cheer up!

The shame is you can't watch the good (or bad) golf by anyone else.

You can't really expect them to document the adventures of all 60 or so losers (no disrespect intended by the term 'losers')!

I don't think you can watch any better golf than what Tiger's doing on the back-9 here today. Another late saturday at a major where Tiger Woods flies past the pack into the lead. Hmmm....where have we seen that before? 99% of the people watching the PGA Champ. could care less about the guys at -5 or -6. They only care about what Tiger's doing and what the other leaders around him are doing.

Better or worse.....some of us want to see what some other people are doing. Let's let the ENTIRE story unfold before us.

I agree with you guys I like watching other players during the tournament. But you have to say Tiger was pretty darn good today and most people like to watch him. RATINGS is what CBS wants and Tiger brings it to them.

Tiger

Yes I like Tiger and I like to watch him win, but remember, Tiger doesn't ask for the coverage nor dose he get paid for it.I have heard him say several times he wishes he could go the places you and I do with out being mobbed. The media has a lot to do with the Tiger hate mongers out there!!
