... Give Luke Donald, Mike Weir, or Adam Scott a good putting round, and Tiger Woods would be walking home empty handed.
How about we "give" them 2 mulligans and 3 strokes per side? If you have to "give" someone anything in order for them to win, they don't deserve to be playing in a major.
Tiger has won 3 of the last 3 weeks he's played - 2 of those are majors. He's not only playing better, he's playing smarter, showing an adaptability and game flexibility no one else possesses at this time. If you're unwilling to see the greatness before you, then your blindness is pitiful.
So much for "Who's gonna challnge Tiger at Medinah?". The man is just dominating the golf world, like it or not. This win will cinch his POY selection as well.
So much for Phil - he's just another average player in the middle of the pack this week. Wonder what ol' Pelz will have to say about his boy now? I can hear the excuses being developed right now!
Yep. Another money title and Player Of The Year award for the greatest golfer of all time.
With Retief Goosen and Ernie Els disappearing from the upper echelon, Vijay beginning to slow down as he approaches his mid-40's, and Phil unable to sustain any substantial run of consistent greatness, it looks like Tiger is in for another very long run atop the OWGR.
And no excuses are needed from Pelz. He said "...when Phil is at the top of his game." Phil hasn't been at the top of his game since April.
Oh Well, It wasn't a day for the british. Shame after 7 years.
Luke just couldn't get a putt to stay in early, and once he was a few behind, he had to press to keep up, and he just couldn't do it. I have no doubt that Luke will take a major someday.

I would agree with that. If Ogilvy can take something positive out of a couple T6s last summer (Open, PGA), there is no reason to think Luke cannot have a similar experience. He is a great player, still only 28, and an extremly bright person. I am sure he learned much about himself today.
