I think it's kinda unfair to just say "Tiger or Luke." Honestly, I think Ogilvy and Weir have a better shot at winning this than Luke. IMO, it's easier to beat Tiger when you're coming from behind in a different pairing than it is to go head-to-head with him.
Just ask Sergio, who was able to make a charge from a pairing back, but whenever hes been paired with Tiger, he's choked. Or Retief Goosen, who is the only player this decade to beat Tiger when he's had the 54-hole lead (and he won a pairing back).
Now not saying it's going to happen, just saying it's easier when you don't have to go head-to-head with him. Pressure's not there as much. Luke is going to feel that pressure today from Tiger. It's going to be tough.

That's why the option "other" is in the poll.
I decided to title the poll Tiger or Luke.
If it was titled who will win, it may be confused with the poll made before the championship.
I think people here are underestimating Luke Donald. He is a very tough customer. He won't be shooting a high number.
If Tiger were to win, he would have to play very very well.
Luke played within himself in the 3rd round and still shared the lead.
In my opinion, Tiger was at the top of his form. He hit 17 greens in regulation. He won't be able to keep that kind of form up. And when Tiger starts missing fairways, it won't be so easy for him.
Luke shot 66 while playing well within himself.
The pga championship is the tournament where Tiger will lose alot of his intimidation factor.
Luke Donald, first European major since a good while. Ahh.

Didn't happen mate, never looked like happening either with Tiger there.
but keep your head up because we will have 4 European Major winners next year.
However, I'm backing Luke Donald. That guy has it all, and he is a man who can stand toe to toe with Tiger and beat him, that's my prediction. Luke Donald to win the PGA Championship.
See, no player right now besides Tiger has it all. Tiger has it all. No other player on Tour right now has the....
(I'll start with the obvious ones)
Length - 2nd in driving distance this week, but I'm not really concerned with that. Tiger is hitting irons into greens from over 250 yards with incredible accuracy. No one else has that. Long iron accuracy - See above Short iron accuracy Putting - He is the best putter out there without a doubt Short game - His bunker play was incredible. He would have been perfect in sand saves if he actually tried to get it close on the 17th.

Indeed.
Harrington, Monty, Donald and Howell.
The names may change, but your 4 European majors prediction will come true.
Poor Luke, he never had a chance after the first hole. I was sure he was going to play well, at least good enough to be in few under for the day but he didn't do anything at all, certainly not enough to give Tiger something to think about.

we may have 1 european who wins them all.
im pretty sure we will have atleast 1 European winner Major winner in the next two years. Harrington is a good bet. Howell is a good bet although i couldn't risk any money on him. Donald is one of our better chances but doesn't do much in Majors (although that stat may improve over the next 2 years). Montgomerie, i don't know where he stands, probably come close a few more times, could well be a Major winner soon. Sergio, needs a huge lead going into sunday to have a good chance. Olazabal has been there and done it, never count him out. Jimenez, knows how to win but not on a Major level (but i think he will win a Major before he has done). Paul Casey is another. also lots of good Scandinavian Golfers, a few good French, Italians etc.. Golfers, and there is plenty more players out there who are in with a good chance, as soon as we get a European winner, we may get 2 or 3 quickly after. we just know it is gonna happen, only question is ''where or when''. Im sure everyone agrees with me that these top Europeans should of won more over the last few years and have had good chances, but we haven't got it done yet.
