Just let Tiger be the Ryder Cup team

leave all those boring grinders at home and save them the humilation of getting beat by those weird dressing Europeans

and Tiger might even be interested in the event with this format
Tiger vs Europe

LOL, Tiger doesn't really do well in Ryder Cup, I believe he has a losing record.

He'd probably do better one on 12 than with a teammate. Although he seems to have found someone who works in Furyk at the moment.

As bad as this team looks right now, they need Tiger Woods to win every single match. As much as i like the ryder cup, i'm having a hard time getting excited watching Brett Wetterich, Vaughn Taylor, J.J. Henry and Chad Campbell.

Captains picks tomorrow should be interesting. I think it's between 3 guys...Davis Love III, Stewart Cink, and Sean O'Hair. I think 2 of those guys will get picked. Verplank, Perry, Leonard and Couples have played awful of late and shouldn't be considered.

There is an old joke about a great soccer player. The rest of the team were late for the game and he played the other team on his own for the first half, and the score was 0-0 at half time. When the rest of the team turned up ,they played the second half with eleven players ,and lost 1-0.

I think Tiger would struggle in the alternate shot format aka foursomes

Davis Love and Stewart Cink are likely.
Sean is a young lad and Tom won't want another rookie in my opinion.

The more our team is disrespected, the better chance we have of winning. Vaughan Taylor, Brett Wetterich, and J.J. Henry could be the next Ignacio Garrido or Phillip Walton or Philip Price.

Adding to Tiger's Ego

The last thing we need is to keep fueling Tiger's ego to the point of making him almost like a god.

However, saying that, there's no excuse (teammate or none), that Tiger can't win at least 3.5/4 points with his talent. He ought to be willing to get out of his self-absorbtion for one week to help his teammates. If he can't, then he can quit.

If that's the case, Tiger shouldn't even play and give the spot to someone who does.
