The Van de Velde curse
Since that major in 99 at the OPEN no Euro has won a major. Yes i get most of my info from the golf channel we just saw but i find this interesting to talk about. No we dont have to discuss it being a curse but why in the heck has it been so long since a player from Europe has won a major. But while i have made this thread a curse we shall go over a few.
Tiger beats a surging Sergio at Medinah. Ian Woosnam too many clubs at the OPEN Parnevik and another guy penalized with wrong scorecard Bjorn hits 3 times from the bunker Montgomery at wingedfoot blows a easy shot for him with a good pin Sergio cannot close the deal with Woods in 2002 or anytime for that matter(close the deal may be harsh but instead ill say cannot get the job done) You can add more im sure but what is up with this horrendous bad luck and streak they have going? Obviously Tiger has a bit too do with this but not winning a major in the 21st century and its already going to be 2007 is amazing and astounding
