He was a young player in the Ryder Cup in the late nineties. He was hyped pretty hard and seems to have disappeared the best I can tell. He had brown hair, I believe and a short name.
All this Ryder Cup talk got me thinking about him.
Lee Westwood? If so he has been improving as of recent years. He was strong then went in the dumps and now has arisen. Could it be him?...........If your looking for the humorous answer ill say SERGIO GARCIA LOL

Baker is still around, supplementing his mediocre play on the Euro tour by entering Challenge Tour events. He never played much over here except for getting invites to all the majors the year after he made his only Ryder Cup team.
I sure don't remember him being hyped. In my mind he's just another Philip Walton, e.g., a guy who won once or thrice on their tour, kicked butt and took names at the RC, then entered the witness protection program.
