Ryder Cup pairings

Sorry if this is a repost, I really didn't see it anywhere else.

What do you guys think the Ryder Cup pairings will end up looking like? I'm predicting the following:

Tiger/Furyk - Not so much predicting in this one.
Phil/DiMarco - Or this one.
Campbell/Verplank - Put the Texans together. I could also see Campbell playing with Toms.
Toms/Wetterich - Put the big X-Factor with a steady hand. Toms's consistency will really let Wetterich go for broke.
Johnson/Taylor - Similar young guns, I think this pairing might turn out pretty big.
Cink/Henry - Just kind of left with these two. Not sure what to do with either of them.

What do you guys think of my suggested pairings, or what do you think the real pairings will end up looking like?

I think your pairings make sense in theory. I think Captain Lehman is expecting to play his top two pairings for all four sessions if they can fare as well as expected. The other two pairings may be mixed and matched a bit, depending on performances, who has the hot hand (or who should get benched).

The pairings aren't too bad. As I live in the UK, those pairings look 1 sided to me...

Or are they, I hope Europe can do it again, Good luck to both teams though.

Toms/Mickelson could be a good pairing..
I amy see Wetterich/Henry as a throwaway match like Fulke/Price in 2002.
Toms/Z.Johnson may be a pairing.

I would expect Lehman to lead off with the Tiger/Fuyrk and Mickleson/Di MArco pairings, then have Toms and Cink , and then Verplank and Campbell . Let the rookies spend the morning watching what this event means.

In the afternoon, I'd pair a rookie with Tiger,Phil,Furyk and Di Marco. The two day trip and the practise rounds will find partners for the top four amongst the rookies.

Second day, I'd hit the top four pairings in the morning again ,then play two of top four and best two of rest with the rookies.

Hal was right to want Tiger and Phil to hit an early blow , but together he gave Europe a huge fat target to hit. Lehman is smarter and will play them separately to get more points.

Hope Mickelson/DiMarco lead off. I bleieve Tiger's lead off in each of the 4 Ryder Cups and was 1-3 as well at the U.S. being 1-3 in 4 compeitions. I would like to see Tiger and Jim last, so that the other teams can focus on their matches and not worry about Tiger.
