Better golfer all time Kite vs Crenshaw

I believe they both have 19 wins with Kite having one major and Crenshaw two majors. The both won a NCAA title in 1972(actually i think they tied). Kite has 7 ryder cup teams to Crenshaws 4 teams. Kite also has 9 champion tour victories and a major there. Crenshaw was a top 3 or 4 putter of all time. Kite won the Vardon trophy in 80 and 81. Both have won the Bob Jones award. This will be interesting because both players have had similar careers yet Crenhsaw has 2 majors but i think Tom did more overall. What do you guys think?

you really do it when it comes to these comparisons, anyway im going for Crenshaw because of the new look he gave to putting , that Mickelson like stroke, anyway there dead even except for the majors, thats why crenshaw gets the edge

I try to come up with close ones to discuss. Ones that may make you think. I like this one because of Penick.

I'd have to go with Kite. They're statistically in almost a dead heat in quantity(19) and quality of victories. Ben has 2 majors to Tom's 1, but Kite has a couple of Tournament of Champions wins as well as a Players and has been more consistent over time, though watching him putt is painful sometimes. Did anyone else see him almost double hit a 5 footer last week ?

How dare you mention Mickelson in the same sentence as Crenshaw! Crenshaw deserves better!
