Tiger!

Wow, I went to the WGC-Bridgestone yesterday and watched Tiger Woods up close on a couple of holes. His focus and swing are pretty amazing, expecially his swing speed. I was in the crowd a couple times that he had to punch out, my favorite being when he made a volunteer move one of the stakes about 90 yards away as some of the crowd members felt it was excessive, Tiger landed the ball on the spot where the stake was. He truly is an amzing player, and the crowds he attracts are equally amazing.

I agree.

There is something really unusual about seeing Tiger up close and in action. There is this aura about him that causes everyone to stop and stare with their undivided attention.

Luckily, I get my yearly turn to see him this coming Monday, for the final round of the D-Bank Championship. Remind me to bring my binoculars this year. I always forget them at home and it's the best thing to bring to the tournaments!

Hey Dormie when you see Tiger standing around with nothing else to do can you wonder over, strike up a conversation and get an autograph for me. I'm sure Stevie won't mind.

Ha, very funny!

Pistol, I'm sure you've seen him in person at some point. You must admit, it's something a little different than the norm.

The first time I saw him was at the 1999 Ryder Cup. He was walking up the center isle following the opening cermonies (I believe his x-girlfriend in tow) and I said "Good luck, Tiger." He said "Thanks."
