Did Johnny Miller Open His Mouth One Time Too Much?
Did he announce who won the Bridgeston Classic before the playoff was aired on CBS? If so, CBS ought to go after NBC and Johnny Miller for announcing this.

Why shouldn't he? The tournament was over, the results were on the net, the radio, available to anyone. Just because a rival network decided to show the tourney on tape delay? Balderdash!

The golf channel had it going under the programming too.
You tape delay, you deserve what you get.

I purposely didn't turn the channel or check the internet during the last hour or so - as soon as I say "recorded earlier" I knew better.

Yep Miller gets paid to open his mouth.....yet most of the time when he opens it he finds his foot in it.

One of my favorite Johnny moments was when Craig Perks pulled driver from the bag on 18 at The Players.....Johnny said, "this guys an idiot"...calling a tour player leading The Players an "idiot"....classic! (but correct)

The more I listen to Wadkins, Tirrico, Blackmar, Clampett, et al, the more Johnny Miller becomes tolerable.
He's about the only guy I don't "mute" on the telecast anymore.

He cals it like it is, but he also tries to stir up a bit of controversy in his comments. That Players remark was a great example, trying to get a reaction from the public
