Well, I think Ilonen (yeah, he´s a Finn) got a wild card, either from the Open Championship (T16 if I remember correctly) or the BMW International.
Wie will never make the Ryder Cup Team because she doesnt meet the chief requirement which is a win on the PGA! As was pointed out on the Golf Channel the other night, the only way she will get on the team is if her father is the team captain and she is one of his picks.

As she descends to 5 over after 11, spare a thought for Nick Dougherty, a promising young player who has also descended to 5 over. It can not be easy being drawn with a circus act.
This ***** - I'm watching the live coverage, well, the "live" coverage, on the golf channel, and they don't even have her out on the course yet. Now I know her scores through 11. My fault for looking, but I think my prediction for her this week will be easily under what she'll do...

Well I've always respected and often shared Rodney's views here... but "never heard of Nancy Lopez" ?? I may have to revisit my opinions. She revitalized Woman's golf (48 wins & a HOFer, often playing part time while raising a family) and I think she's still shy of 50 years old... that's akin to saying you've never heard of Tom Watson. That one's going to stick Rodney.
