Regarding the win streak, it is what it is. If they count that type of event, then it should count. If it were something like the Battle at Bighorn (or whatever that thing was Tiger was doing for while there), where it was more of a promotional event and not an actual PGA Tour event, then I wouldn't think it should count.

As for the cuts made streak, it's hard to compare the two. In Nelson's day, there were many events that did not include a cut, but from what I've heard, they considered it making the cut if you got paid, which Nelson did. Tiger's events where there was no cut, it should not count toward the streak in my opinion because the only way he would "miss" the cut would be a DQ or maybe a WD. He could have finished dead last and still "made the cut".

Maybe that's what Ms. Wie needs to do...start playing events that don't have a cut so she can claim she's made a cut on the PGA Tour!

Ten, eleven, twelve, ... who cares? It was a great streak, by a great golfer, and "it was what it was." As far as level of competition, you win against the field playing the event. Trying to disparage records because of competition is ludicrous!

Maybe some of Hank Aaron's home runs should be re-evaluated depending on who the pitcher was? If some of them weren't against top-notch pitchers maybe his record isn't so great?

Just my two cents.
