How will Michelle perform at the Lumber Classic event?

Mystic Rock Golf Course is 7,516 yards, the third-longest par-72 golf course on the circuit.

If the course could talk: “Big hitters are certainly welcome here, but lag putters might enjoy themselves more by week’s end.”

No surprise, then, that 11 of the top 13 in driving distance are entered in this week’s 84 LUMBER Classic on the long Mystic Rock layout.

If Michelle were coming off a more confident performance, I would probably be of the opinion that it would be a good challenge for her just to get out there and give it a belt. Learn alot, and find out exactly where she stands in regard to the big hitters.
Obviously a long way behind, but just how far exactly.

But given the Omega, it could be a tough tournament for her. Good luck Michelle, but I'm voting for a probable missed cut on this event.

Definite missed cut, but possibly in the top 110. I almost went with 111th to 6th to last, but I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and predict her to finish between 100 and 110.

i voted 5th-2nd last, is that of the remaining field or are we counting players who withdraw or get DQ'ed too, in that case 5th-2nd last might not be a possibility.

It's fairer if the players who wd or got dq'ed are not counted for that contest in my opinion.

The air is a bit thinner up there but it should still be a huge test for her..... especially on the greens.

I voted last place. After her recent performance (uh, let's see, oh, last place), I don't see how it can possibly get any better here.

I find it funny how the expectations have gone from most being in the "make the cut" basket to everyone (to this point anyway) predicting she misses it.

We can argue all we want, but I think people are starting to be more realistic.

I've voted for her to make cuts before. Personally I hope she ****(I made up my own acromyn - a very unacceptable one for GR too), not literally, but scorewise. Not for the reason you might think though - I'm hoping that it will be a slap to daddy's face that his daughter is a person and not a cash machine.

I expect Pelz to work some miracle, get her confidence up, and see her make the cut. Stick with same bet long enough, it'd gotta pay off!

LOL at the thin air comment...it's no thinner than the air at the Omega Masters was, certainly.

Anyway, it's true that I'll be at the event on Friday, and I'll try to make up a report when I get back.

BTW, I picked Michelle to miss the cut...not sure how much better than 110th place she'll do though.

It will be an enormous performance if she was to make the cut. This girl is playing way out of her league.

I voted missed cut-110th, but in reality I hope she makes the cut so I can laugh my behind off at all the "Weak Field" threads that will pop up around here.

I voted she misses the cut, although I'd love to see her make it just so we'd have something to talk about... It gets so quiet around here.
